Welcome to Wexler-Grant's Third Grade Home Page!
Where words and imagination meet...
As you know, this year we are trying a departmentalized plan at Wexler-Grant. This means that this year both Ms. Nusdeu and Mrs. Pappa will be teaching all third graders! Ms. Nusdeu is teaching Literacy (Reading/Writing/Intervention) and Mrs. Pappa is your child’s Math/Science/Social Studies/Health teacher.
We have now had a chance to dive into this new plan at Wexler and so far, it is going great! Ms. Nusdeu enjoys being able to share wonderful literature with your children, and Mrs. Pappa loves being able to explore science experiments and social studies topics.
You can leave a message through the school or (cell number for Ms. Nusdeu 203-376-8042 Mrs. Pappa 860-303-9020) or you can fill out the form at left. We will get back to you as soon as possible!
It is our firm belief and philosophy that a key component to a child’s success is through a sound parent/child/teacher relationship. You are your child’s first teacher and no one knows them better than you. Our first goal is to get to know you and your child. Secondly, we want you to get to know us and our philosophy of teaching. With this in mind, be assured that parent visitors and/or volunteers are always welcome in our classrooms.
Let our focus be on positive beginnings as the cornerstone of positive results. Again, welcome and we hope to see you soon.
